We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jennifer Roossien to San Bruno Pet Hospital on July 15th 2024.
Jennifer Roossien, Associate Veterinarian at our practice, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Born in Southern California, and raised in the Bay Area, Jennifer pursued her passion for animals from an early age, starting with a degree in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis, in 1991. She continued her education at UC Davis, earning her veterinary degree in 1995.
Jennifer’s journey in veterinary medicine began with summer jobs as a veterinary assistant for three years, followed by four years as an animal caretaker in research labs during her undergraduate studies. These formative experiences fueled her interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine, areas she excels in today.
At home, Jennifer enjoys the company of her beloved retriever mix, Bentley. Outside of work, she finds joy in greenhouse gardening, indulging in a good book, and hitting the slopes for some skiing. Her dedication to animal health and her varied interests make her a well-rounded and valued member of our veterinary team.
